The birth of Merly

Iris Yee Yee went to town and we requested for her to buy Merly for Elijah. Hmm...how did Elijah find out about Merly...the YOG mascot? Well....we passed by a giant board of Lyo and Merly everyday when daddy drive past the junction to home and causeway point. He will definitely stare at Merly...so over time via the introduction of Lyo and Merly by mummy....Elijah recognised these 2 cute YOG mascots. I think he is in love with Merly. He is so obsessed with Merly that no matter where we go..he would be staring and telling me that is Merly.

Since he loves Merly so much, we decided to buy Merly for Elijah. So today is the birth of Merly. He owns Merly..hehehe. I personally like Merly better as a picture...I think the mascot is not as cute. But I think it doesn't matter to Elijah. I suppose it's a way for him to own a piece of history of Singapore in that sense. I guess it is love at first sight. He hugged and kissed Merly at the very moment he saw her.

The day ended with dinner at Teochew porridge and coffee session at Old Town Cafe....Elijah had his fair share of yummy bread on top of his porridge. My little eating Machine!!!!
