Home alone with Papa

Today I have a full day of meet the parents session lined up in school....this means that I can't spend this lovely Sat with Elijah. Am not looking forward to it but at least I know Cheewan will do a more than perfect job looking after him. And what is even better is daddy having quality time with him...what more can Elijah ask for.

Today is probably the 3rd time Daddy is having time alone the whole day with Elijah. I think both daddy and Elijah are enjoying it.

Probably Elijah is saying a lot of  'walk walk' to daddy and he is getting his way with it hahahaha.

Well, what i must say is that.....Cheewan...you're doing a great job as a daddy. I think not many daddy are willing or can handle their kids ALONE without external help and I think you're awesome being able to do that. :)

I suppose this may not be the last time he will be time alone. Am sure he'll have at least once more of that end of year.

1st visit to West Coast Park....kites everywhere

Eversince Elijah is walking...he can't stop walking and 'walk walk' has become his favourite words. He really enjoy walking and the freedom to move about. So today is another walking day.

We brought Elijah to West Coast Park...cool he was literally running around on the field. There were SO MANY MANY KITES!!!!! It was lovely to see him so happy walking and running about. West coast park is beautiful. :) We also met many doggies...it was fantastic.

I wanted to bring Cheewan to eat BBQ chicken....so we went to West Coast Plaza. It was a really nice and cool place....many interesting little shops and warehouse prices for Nike stuff...wow....I'm impressed. Hhehehe. Couldn't really shop as it was late already and Elijah was tired.

A fantastic gathering with colleagues and Weixin

Today had a fantastic buffet lunch with Lok Hun & family, Yen Nee, Lim Yian & Boon Jong and Garfield at Park Royal Kitchener Road. Thought it'll be nice to meetup initially coz Cheewan hasn't met little Weien...but in the end Weien didn't come along as it was too difficult for them to bring both kids.

Had a great time catching up....good meal too. It has been some time since Elijah met Weixin again. Both kids had grown up lots liao......and they were imitating each other lots. It was fun...watching them.

We did visited Weien after the lunch...the kids played in the playground and we had dinner together too. It was a fun but tiring day. :)

Airport trip to welcome Uncle Yippy

For the first time...Elijah is under Yee Yee care. Hehhehee....Cheewan drove Elijah to Iris' house today..then Pat would be driving them to her home. He was such a darling....woke up at 8+am allowed daddy to relax in the morning.

Yee yees said that Elijah was a good boy all along...easy and happy venturing around Pat Yee Yee's house. I reached Pat's home about 3+pm. It was so impossible to get a cab. Iris called and said he refused his morning nap and was active...but getting cranky now already coz of the tiredness.

I spent some time putting him to bed....but eventually he did sleep together with Elliot...it was a really sweet sight to see the boys sleeping together. He was really quite happy and wanna walk walk all over the house hahahaa.

It was a fantastic day...we all squeezed into Pat's rush.....made our way to the airport...reached there abit late abt 7+pm..by then Uncle Yippy had arrived. We had a nice dinner...it was lovely..Uncle Yippy bought Elijah a toy story doggie Pee Peez. Cool.

Elijah is enjoying his new toy....a steering wheel. My day out alone with Elijah....daddy has tution....brought him to pastamania in Causeway point. The toy kept Elijah entertained while mummy had a good dinner.

The day when fate brought Elijah and friends together at Hortpark

1st time...our trip to Hortpark together. The last time we went there was when I was quite heavily preggie with Elijah. It's our 2nd trip there and Elijah's 1st trip. Little boy is still sick....cough and flu so decided outdoors at a park is gonna be the best remedy.

The night before..Joonlin did asked if we could meet up with her and Chaiyen...but since they were meeting in the morning...it wasn't possible for us to meet as Cheewan had to work in the morning.

But not long after our arrival....ALAS....we saw Ricky, Lucas and Chaiyen...and just beside them was Joonlin and Wen...WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!! We never planned for it but think fate brought us to meet together. I could hardly believed that we really met without pre-arrangement.

Basically...it was a great day...kids having fun at playground...looking at caterpillars and running in free spaces. 1st time Elijah was walking in the outdoors without assistance. It was fantastic and lots of fun to see the kids imitating each other. :) I love it.

It was followed by a nice dinner together and back home to zzzz.

Memories of sucking finger...look at the 2 hard bumps due to the persistent sucking...Elijah used to love sucking index finger...now he has switched to thumb sucking instead.

The return of the cough, flu and phlegm...deadly combi

Poor Elijah...was awake from 2am to 4am last night...fussing...coz he was having a bad running nose. It stared with little bits of cough on Mon...however, progressed to a cough, phlegm and flu on Thurs...haiz. Poor fellow..coughing and running nose seems to be irritating him and he had problem getting back to sleep.

Poor Elijah....mama wish I can make U feel better....wish I can take away all your little viruses and symptoms to make you feel better.

Is it a symptom of missing daddy.....Cheewan had to leave for Bangkok again on 14th Jul (Wed) to 16th Jul (Fri)...had to see some clients there. Daddy is coming home really soon yah.

Elijah made Cheewan's day when he woke up and saw papa....he immediately called papa and smiled. How sweet.

The day started with bubbles during the morning walk.

Well, today we were invited to Cheewan's colleague, Issac's youngest daughter's 1st year's birthday at Yio Chu Kang Grassroot Club house's playroom.

A fun day...a crazy area with lots of ball....a day of climbing and giantic slides. It's just heavenly.

Elijah's 1st time at a wedding

Nathalie's wedding is the first wedding that Elijah attended. Daddy has to work on that morning so Elijah has to go with me to the wedding.

It was quite an amazing day..mama convinced him to nap by 10.30am. During the naptime...it was a crazy jam pack time for me...I had to cook his porridge, pack his bag, shower and get changed before he wakes up. Yes yes I managed to do everything on time before he woke up.

He woke up feeling happy...I changed him and off we go..in the carseat alone....Elijah sat quietly. I drove all the way to Mandarin Orchard Hotel. Traffic was moderate on CTE...it was not such a short ride but Elijah was good all the way...until we almost reached the hotel...he started to be alittle impatient...whined alittle. But all was well...everyone was alright and in 1 piece. Mama still sane hahaha. Then had to put him on the pram and brought him to the wedding itself.

Nathalie...my HQ ex-colleague looked lovely...absolutely gorgeous. The wedding venue....Manadarin Court's ambience is really nice and the deco is so Nathalie...hahaha. So fantastic..gotta meet Shea Li, Tian Hwee and Eileen..the blur sotong who nearly missed the wedding. But was really great we got the opportunity to meet up since we're all back in school already.

Elijah was an eating machine once again..he DID NOT STOP EATING throughout the lunch. He ate and ate and ate...left me feeling alittle hungry actually. He was really patient on the high chair. Only started to be cranky during the last dish. He was such a good and easy boy.

Cheewan met us after that. After the lunch, he was totally tired out....he slept on his pram...no fussing...just fell asleep. That left us to shop...we explored 313 the new shopping place.....it was a fantastic day.

I always try to come home alittle earlier like 5+pm when at mum's house...so can bring him for a walk in the park and the playground.

We came across a house with a pet cat and always convinced the cat out to say hello to us by giving him a little cat treat.

The cat's named is Patches....we can't help but to visit him everytime during our evening walk. We used to only know him as a ginger spotted cat. One day the owner...Grace and James...investigated who were Patches friend so we finally got to meet the Patches owner and realized that his name is Patches and he has a sister a 3-legged cat called snowflakes or snow. Snow also appeared on the day we met Grace.

So I decided that I ought to take some photos so that Elijah can remember Patches via photos next time when he grows up.

Verdict...we love this playground just a step away. Can't wait for the next phase of development.
