Flu flu flu flu...when will we get well?

Poor Elijah has flu since Mon. Think he got the infection from Ah Ma and Gong gong..for once I thought he was alright. But nope...he started with running nose.....fever then sneezing and cough together. My greatest fear was the cough. But thank goodness the cough didn't disturb his sleep....he coughed to get rid of the phlegm.

On Mon and Tues..his fever was quite high..went up to 39 haiz...so on Tues...Cheewan decided we must bring him to Dr Ong again. So we went made it on time at 4.30pm sharp before they closed. Poor Elijah again had 1 dose of neubilizer. That boy seems to dislike going to Dr...he was crying when Dr Ong wanted to just check on his throat..crying when checking on his ears.  Crying when being neubilized hahaha.

Think he really hated the word Dr and Medicine....he will always take his medic crying even though he will not spit it out. Kind of accepted his fate liao. Anyway he had lots of medic...1 for fever...1 for cough..1 for phlegm..1 for running nose. Poor him. Hope he will get well soon.

Wed was a really tough day coz I fell sick too. I was having 39 degrees fever too. Had bad muscle aches. I still insisted on caring for my little Elijah. Was tough...there was one point where I just laid down on his playmat....no more energy just had to make sure he was safe playing his toy. And called hubby to come home on time coz I have no more energy.

Went to see doc in the evening. Ate my medic and left Elijah with daddy throughout the nite. Am so sorry I couldn't put him to sleep but I knew I needed the rest so that I can be well tom. So I went to bed. I supposed he had a fun time with daddy...I was half asleep throughout...I could hear daddy telling him not to splatter the water anymore and etc. Hhahaha it was really funny and heartwarming.

Luckily Thurs is much better.....coz Elijah also slept lots in the day too. That leaves me time to recuperate too. I only gave him 2 doses of paracetomol and his fever wasn't so high anymore. My fever was almost gone too. I even brought him to the park for a walk....sweated it out..felt much better and no more muscle aches. In the evening...I decided he needed some fresh air so brought to the park beside RP. Showed him dragonflies for the first time. He was pretty facinated with it. :) Even posed and gave me a smile. He saw many turtles in the little stream. Soft poo...which is good news..means the phlegm is being gotten rid of.

By Fri...yah he was fever free. Happy and cheeky as ever. Yipee..although the cough and running nose still presisted but I guess he will be able to fight the bugs. Please get well my boy....hurts me to hear u coughing away in ur sleep. Mummy loves U.
