Mum's day alone shopping with Elijah

Am happy that I am going to be able to spend 24hours with Elijah today...but am also feeling alittle blue coz holiday is ending already. That's not gonna spoil my day though..am gonna enjoy every moment with my naughty little boy.

He slept till 8.30am..yippeee gave mama a good time sleeping too. He was already awake when I went to peep at him..he is such a good boy....rolling on his bed...never cried to be picked up. When I went to him, he actually smiled to me. One of the rare days he wasn't deprived of sleep and Elijah woke up a happy boy.

It started to rain HEAVILY in the afternoon.

Stopped and that little boy didn't want to take his afternoon nap...I gave up. Brought him single-handedly to Sembawang Shopping Centre....put him on the carrier....dragged his pram along....got up the bus. Probably the first time he was aware of his surrounding taking the bus...the last time he was in the bus was when he was abt 2-3mths old. Amazing that I could travel like that. Elijah was such a darling throughout. He sat quietly on his pram...when I tried on clothes..he went in to the fitting room and was playing in the room. He wanted to protest being in the pram again...I just told him "Mama...will give you mum mum (food) ok...you sit...we go eat porridge". He quietly got back into the pram.

Brought him to eat at New York New York.....he had a good time communicating with the baby at the next table. Anyway...he was a darling throughout.

Took a cab home coz I dragged another 5kg of rice pack home. Upon reaching the block, he refused the pram. I finally threw the rice on the pram and reached home in 1 piece and Elijah safe and sound at home. Hahahha..what an adventure..all to buy a packet of rice and a nice denim shorts from Esprit.

Elijah in the bus.......he loves imitating the sound of the engines of the buses...
Happy Elijah...pretending to self feed...kept him entertained while I have my dinner.

Wow! You are good, Mary.. I don't think I can bring a pram along if I bring Jovan or Jocelle out alone.. You even took the bus! Well done, mummy!
